Weather Situation:

A cold front over western Victoria will cross the State tonight before a low pressure system develops near the Gippsland coast during Saturday. The low is expected to deepen significantly off the Gippsland coast of Victoria during Saturday and early Sunday before moving away to the east Sunday night. A narrow ridge of high pressure will move across Victoria on Monday before drifting eastwards on Tuesday as a low pressure trough approaches the Bight.

Winds west to southwesterly averaging 35 to 45 km/h, reaching 50 km/h at times, becoming southwesterly up to 65 km/h around midday. Overnight temperatures falling to around 6 with daytime temperatures reaching between 10 and 15.
